ICF (International Christian Fellowship) is created out of a dream to develop an innovative, relevant and contemporary church to lead people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

ICF Zürich: The movement began back in 1990 when various people from different cultures and denominations met together regularly for worship services under the name of «STUDIO ICF» in the St. Anna Chapel in Zürich.

In 1996, the «ICF-Church» was founded with approximately 70 people from diverse church congregations under the leadership of Leo Bigger, Matthias Bölsterli (now Senior Pastor, ICF Geneva) und Mickey Connod (now Co-Pastor, ICF Basel).

The ICF quickly became a lively and expanding church. In early 1999 the «ICF-Church» was renamed «icf-zürich» as additional ICF churches were founded in other cities (see ICF Movement)

ICF St.Gallen: In summer 2002, newlyweds Corrine and Reto Kaltbrunner came to St.Gallen to start a new ICF. They were supported by a team that had already been meeting in small groups in St.Gallen. The first official Celebration took place at Christmas 02 in the Lagerhalle (Davidstrasse).

Shortly thereafter Celebrations were held every Sunday in a dance school (Lagerhalle). In summer 03, an old commercial property in St.Georgen was converted into an ICF office with a Celebration room. From the onset it was clear that these facilities would only serve as a temporary solution.

From December 05 to March 09 the Celebrations were held in the restaurant Moststube in the Olma area. As the number of visitors doubled during 2008 two Celebrations were offered at each Sunday towards the end of the year.

In early 2009 the entire Church engaged in the renovation of the old Tiffany movie theatre (the name Tiffany in Greek mythology means "God's Manifestation") with voluntary work and financial support. The new Celebration Hall was then officially opened in March 2009 and now serves hundreds of people as a meeting place each weekend
